Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at young age of fourteen. She trained in boxing kickboxing BJJ and wrestling before making her professional debut at 18 in WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd later went on to beat three times consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were defeated within the first second. Then, she returned to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo ahead of a match against Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia outclassed Aspen and prevailed over her with a unanimity to create a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd bounced back from defeat by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and was able to dominate her in the first round to win a TKO. Aspen won her subsequent fight with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. Aspen then fought at bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen dominated McGill in her wrestling, and eventually defeated her in the third round by TKO. She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen took on Hoy and got her out after the second round with a TKO. In her last fight for this promotion, Ladd defeated Sijara Ebanks with a unanimous win at Invicta FC 21. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut came at UFC Fight Night 118 in which she fought Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina as she pound her down to score a second-round TKO victory. She came back to her winning ways and racked up an impressive victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger in the very first round and received a bonus for the performance of the night. Sijara Eubanks from Invicta FC was her opponent in the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. The match was Ladd's debut major fight. Her victory was an unanimous verdict, and also she was awarded the Fight of the Night award went to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within just 16 seconds, which was enough and ended her win streak. Then she bounced back to win Yana Kunitskaya, in the 3rd round at UFC on ESPN 7. In her recent fight for the UFC she faced Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. She lost the fight via unanimous decision.
