Sharon Yvonne Stone, born 10 March 1958 at Meadville (Pennsylvania), is the daughter of Dorothy Lawson, a former factory worker, as well as Joseph William Stone, a tool maker and die maker. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her brothers and sisters. Stone was regarded as an academically gifted in her early years and entered second grade at five. Saegertown School in Saegertown Pennsylvania is her school of choice for highschool. Stone graduated in 1975. In addition, she competed in and was crowned the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest. Stone was able to move to New Jersey with her aunt in 1977, to take on a modeling job, signing up with the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. Then, she relocated back to Europe and spent an entire year living in Milan as well as Paris. Stone, disillusioned at the fashion industry within Europe began acting as she lived in Europe. In her 20s, she starred in the Woody Allen film "Stardust Memories," which received mixed reviews.
