Films by Tyler Perry Why Did I Get Married also features her. Alongside Perry and Janet Jackson, as well as in the forthcoming independent productions Frozen Peas and Born Guilty. In addition, she was in Shattered! Never Die Alone and American Adobo. Cum Laude's B.F.A. was awarded to Keesha upon her graduation. of the Conservatory, Keesha set her sights on the stage. She was a part of the Broadway National Tour of Carousel, debuted Off-Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and was in eight different roles on the interactive show Eat the Runt. The other theatre productions included Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Keesha read alongside playwright August Wilson himself. Keesha has also directed several seasons of "Lethal Weapon", Are We There Yet?, and the short films One Day, Lillian, and Half Off. Keesha has several projects that she's currently working on, for instance, Clean The Brit & Broken Doll. Keesha is working on an album full-length to display her voice following her success with "Santa Baby".
