tony gonzalez-5-1024x1024Anthony David Gonzalez was born on 27 February 1976 in Torrance, California. Gonzalez was born in southern California. He was a student at Huntington Beach High School and was a star basketball and football player. Gonzalez was a star in these activities at University of California, Berkeley. He played a key role in leading the team's football team to 1996 Aloha Bowl. There, Gonzalez set a record in the school for receptions with nine and set it again. Gonzalez was the basketball coach into the Sweet 16 of NCAA basketball tournament within a couple of months. He then left school to join the 1997 NFL Draft. The Kansas City Chiefs selected Gonzalez as the 13th overall selection. Gonzalez was a player for the Chiefs from 1997 to the year 2008. The Chiefs dealt Gonzalez to the Atlanta Falcons. He never caught fewer than 59 passes in Gonzalez's second NFL season.
