ItaliaStephanie Italia Ricci, born on the 29th of October, 1986, is a Canadian-American actress. She's known for starring as April Carver in the 2014-2015 ABC Family television show Chasing Life, and for her role as the White House Chief of Staff and Special Advisor Emily Rhodes in the television drama series Designated Survivor from 2016 to 2019.During 2009, Ricci began appearing in American productions in small parts in How I Met Your Mother, House, and Greek. The same year, she starred in the Comedy Central series Secret Girlfriend as Sasha. She starred as Maggie Winnock in Unnatural History which is a Cartoon Network live-action series. She also appeared as herself in an Clean & Clear ad. In 2011, Ricci appeared in the short film Valediction. Ricci was in a small part as Don Jon, Joseph Gordon-Levitt's first film as a director.
